A message from Fiesta Educativa Inc. Board of Directors and Executive Director Irene Martinez: FIESTA EDUCATIVA INC. RECEIVES DONATION OF VAN FROM THE RICARDO MONTALBAN FOUNDATION HOLLYWOOD, CA – (August 11, 2009) – FIESTA EDUCATIVA INC. is proud to announce that it has received a donation of a 2007 Chrysler Minivan that belonged to the legendary actor Ricardo Montalbán. The minivan has VMI fully Automated Wheel Chair Conversion, which will allow Fiesta Educativa to better assist individuals with mobility needs. FIESTA EDUCATIVA INC. will provide transportation in the greater East Los Angeles community for individuals who have mobility needs. Fiesta Educativa Inc. is honored to receive this generous donation from the Ricardo Montalbán Foundation. With the kind support of the foundation, families who have family members with disabilities will be provided with assistance in their mobility needs. We sincerely appreciate this generous donation. Fiesta Educativa is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1978. We are leading the way for families to acquire knowledge and education about their family member with special needs. Our mission and vision is to partner with families, professionals, consumers, friends, agencies and key decision-makers to engender universal support of local, state and national programs and services that specifically support and enhance the lives of persons with disabilities.
